The fear of always coming in second made my actions make another second.
The problem with my fear was it was true every time.
Making my walls higher and my life harder to love and to be loved in return

And yet I still come in second

Moment you can tell someone lost interest
Their eyes glass over and they don't see you
You look at them and they stare back, you see your old memories instead of seeing them
